The problem I have seen is when a mother is having her first baby at 41-43
yrs. of age. I do notice  that these mothers take a little longer for the
mature  milk to come in and then have a problem  to maintain the milk
supply. Now there could be many factors other than age that enter the
picture. Usually these mothers are very tense and worried about  having
enough milk etc.
This is just what I have seen in my practice.
