The woman I worked with experienced a normal breast change during pregnancy.
No PCOS no fertility issues. But I remember so vividly her pumping away and
pouring the 2 bottles together hoping for an ounce. She would shake out
every last drop! Her baby ended up with meag-colon, which we also managed to
resolve. She hung in there, it was pretty amazing, I had never seen anything
like it before. I kept thinking that not breastfeeding was not an option for
this woman. Then, finally one day, there was milk and lots of it. It sure
makes me wonder about all the people who give up at 14 days. I really honor
each and every woman who goes the extra mile for her baby.
