Is this a GP or a surgeon? Sometimes a surgeon who has experience with Bf
breast can actually pinpoint source of recurring mastitis. We have one
such in Jerusalem.

I had a call Sunday night about a plugged duct. Preemie, 2 mos old. Turns
out the woman was not holding her breast with an open hand, but
compressing. I gave her some basic advice to get her through to the
morning, since she called me at 11 pm. The LLL Leader I had her call in
the morning suggested that she not wear a bra for two weeks after she
unplugs the duct. Sometimes women think they've managed to work out a
plugged duct, and then it comes right back because of restricting clothing,
leaning on desks, bras with wires, etc.
