Ditza emerges from lurkdom...

I am in my professional lactation infancy (although I have breastfed 5
babies), and am interested in building my library. I find  have a steep
learning curve to overcome, and the reading does help. List members
frequently mention books and pamphlets that sound intriguing, and I am
sometimes able to get my hands on them. I am interested in compiling a
master list for myself, as a 'wish list' for when people don't know what to
get me for my birthday, etc....

Could you all (yes, all 2000 of you!) please email me privately about
reading material you have found indispensible, and also basically helpful?
Please identify whether you feel it's a BASIC (i.e. Auerbach and Reardon,
BAB...) or auxilliary (i.e. "Politics of Breastfeeding").
