Hi All. Facebook is a social thing, and a voluntary thing. We would never
release any information to anyone for any reason. The information you gave
when you joined is public, ie your email address, etc, but other than that,
nothing is public other than what you make public.

Facebook is a tool, albeit a time-sink, and can be another way of connecting
for those who wish to do so. It is not affiliated really with this list, in
that it is not a direct part of this list. One does not have to join one to
be a part of the other. Two volunteers are making the Lactnet thing happen
on Facebook, and I not involved at this time,.....I thank them for their
time and guidance. It will be interesting to see what happens when
Lactnetters get together on Facebook.

Lisa Wilkins <[log in to unmask]> and Alice Barbiere Alice Barbiere
<[log in to unmask]> are the two volunteers who you may ask about it if you
are interested. As Linda Pohl, our newest listmother says,

> Some of the Lactnet subscribers have voiced concern that their information
> might be released to Facebook. Rest assured that the only way anyone from
> Lactnet will be associated with Facebook is if that individual signs into
> Facebook and joins. The List Mothers of Lactnet have no intention of releasing
> any list of subscribers for this purpose. Joining or not joining Facebook is
> a personal decision.

That's right Linda! Good words. Thanks to all. Kathleen
