Yes, it's a patent on producing recombinant lactoferrin.  This is not new
stuff, this kind of work to produce medicines has been going on for a
couple of decades.  Human insulin for diabetics is produced this way, for
example.  Insulin is also a component of human milk, but not formula.  Is
the recombinant lactoferrin being used in medical research?  Any
publications of the research?
