Even a non breastfed baby could get cow's milk at 6 months, maybe earlier,
as long as he is getting a variety of other foods, in decent amounts.  The
solute load stuff is a bunch of nonsense except in the very young baby.

Also the stuff about young babies not being able to concentrate their urine.
I have seen dehydrated babies of 6 days old with urine specific gravities of
1030.  If that's not concentrated, what is?
