Hi Lactnetters!

There was a post a while back about some changes that were made to the BFHI
10 steps in the US. I had also heard about this, but I recently found out
what the exact story was. There has been no changes to the 10 steps. What
happened was that the UNICEF US Committee mandated a sub-committee to work
on the BFHI. A study was made and came back with the recommandation that the
10 steps be changed. Following those recommandations, most groups involve
did not endorse the outcome of this study. So, the UNICEF US Committee still
endorses the UNICEF's BFHI 10 steps as they were published. No changes were
made!
