Hi all

I have a mother of a 9 week old that is plagued by a plugged duct on the R
side every two weeks. We have gone over the standard interventions, she has
used Lecithin, modified her diet, made sure she wasn't using restrictive
bras or night clothes. Of interest is the fact that she had surgery to
remove a mass on her breast when she was 16 y.o. and she's 29 now. The year
after the mass was removed she had another mass at the same site which was a
fluid filled cyst that was drained. She has had no further recurrences.
The area that becomes blocked is between the incision and the areola.

Any other suggestions? I have searched the archives. This last time it has
taken longer for the plugged area to resolve and she's feeling frustrated.

Thanks for any help you can provide. Respond directly to me as I am No
Mail.
