I don't have any specific tapes to recommend but I know that the Library
of Congress runs an extensive program of recording for the blind.  You
might check with them to see if they have anyting good already available.
If not, they will record anything requested by (or perhaps on behalf of
as well) someone who is blind.  I don't know how much lead time they need.
I'm sure you can get basic info on this program in your local library
or off the web.
