Yes, I have the 12th edition, which says what you quote. I also heard him 
speak a few months ago and he said botox was fine with breastfeeding.

Gail, do you have Thomas Hale's book?  He rates botox as L3- Moderately
safe.  He quotes one published report in which a breastfeeding woman was
severely poisoned by botulism toxin and continued breastfeeding her
baby.  Four hours after her admission, her milk was tested and was free
of botulinum toxin and C. botulinum bacteria.  The infant showed no
signs of poisoning.
