If I had a dollar for every time I felt like throwing in the towel, I'd
have enough money so I could afford to quit!
There are certainly days like this.  I have MAJOR concerns about
directions I see our administration  goingLCs (teach both bottle and
breastfeeding, possibly in the same class) and a solid wall when it
comes to wanting to let moms who plan to bottle feed that there are good
reasons to breastfeed, inviting formula reps (unbeknownst to us) to our
LC staff meetings, etc.  Problem is, my husband was retired 3 years
early, before he could get his retirement fund where he wanted it.  I am
the primary bill payer including his medicare supplemental insurance.  I
really NEED to work another 4 years at least, but at my age what are the
chances of getting another position.  Therefore, where in my younger
days I might have said, "I cannot compromise my standards.  If you
insist I do, I will have to leave and go elsewhere.", I don't really
have that option now.
