I wonder why Bactrim is not compatible.  We give bactrim
(sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) to children with
ear infections.  I don't have my copy of Hale or Briggs handy, but why
wouldn't we use a medication which we would prescribe to this 3-year-old
if he had an infection?  Another example of not using common sense in
prescribing meds to nursing moms, IMO.  Alicia.  [log in to unmask]
