While Ross Labs data are most often reported, they are not the ONLY
information obtained. Go back to 1997 (March I think) issue of JHL for an
article by two researchers with NO relationship to the formula companies.
They reported a comparison between the data from Ross (mother surveys) and
one done by the US government. The data from each was very very close.
Where they diverged, the authors discussed the significance of this, for
both researchers and clinicians.

Keep in mind that hwenever Ross Labs "publishes" their data, it is not
research in the strict sense of the term, but rather "MARKETING RESEARCH"
designed --bottom line-- to know who buys their products and how to sell
more of it....
