Dr Helen Ball of the U of Durham--England addressed the annual Emory BF
conference today. She did a fine job sharing her research . She give an
excellent presentation . What a joy !!
"Is Bed-Sharing a Missing Element in Breastfeeding Promotion? "and "Risks
and Benefits of Parent-Infant Bed-Sharing" were the topics presented.
On day two ,Saturday ,the Northside Hospital Lactette Players are back by
popular demand. During lunch they will do a reprise of the skit that was
such a hit last year. Pam the nursing mother in the restaurant with a
friend and Sam the waiter who says that" you can't do that in here". It is
so fun. That will be followed by a new number written to "YMCA." The rest
of the Lactettes that are in the audience will join the ones in the skit and
sing .(with Village People attire )
Young Mom --what are you gonna do--
I said Young Mom --when your labor is through

There's a way that- You can give babe your Best
And it starts right here at the Breast

Hey now- There's some things you should know
That might help you - choose the way you should go

....and so on for several verses such talent and fun to go with all that
productivity. Sorry not to share it with more interested breastfeeding
advocates.
Yes, Gene Cambardella will assume the role of Sam the waiter again.
