Regarding the current NOW statement: "Financial barriers" to
breastfeeding?!? What might those be??

 While one assumes this refers to mothers who are employed outside the
home and away from their babies, isn't this issue covered in the body of
their statement? One must wonder what the author(s) were thinking...

Very disappointing all the way around.
