I have been telling the participants of my WIC nutrition classes for a long
time now how strongly I believe that companies market lots of totally un-
necessary products for baby to new parents. These companies realize that
these people want to do what's "best" for their kids and so they continually
market their items as though you have to have them in order to give your kids
the best. I even see items in "BF FRIENDLY" catalogs, such as breastfeeding
stools, etc...that are not necessary to take great, loving care of children
but DO succeed in separating hard-working people from their money.

Of course, ABM (maybe it should stand for abnormal baby milk ?) is highest on
my list, but a close second are the jars of mush. Could hardly stand to smell
them myself, not to mention actually feed them to my kids.

And lastly...for Rob...you (gasp!) shop for food? Wow, what a lucky wife you
have. I am impressed! :-)
