Dr. Leeper,

I have always wanted to attend ABM conferences, and am sorry that due to my own health issues (eye problems) I was not aware of this being offered. I don't know if there was enough publicity to the IBCLC community or I missed it due to my limitations during the last year.

As most of us have very limited time to attend conferences outside our geographic area, I love on-line conferences.

The cost seems very reasonable when looking at the list of speakers and topics, but I also know that during this last year I found it very difficult to take the time to listen to the on-line conferences I did purchase.

Perhaps offering individual sessions might be more marketable...and could also be more targeted. In terms of marketing...

Subject: ABM Conference on GOLD?

Most of the 2017 meeting of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine has been on GOLD since June, and there has been very little interest.

We are trying to decide whether it is "worth it" to try again. My thought is that more LCs might be interested if they could choose just one or two lectures, instead of the entire conference as a package.

My other thought is that it is less exciting to see lectures from 8 months ago than from last month!

If anyone out there has an opinion one way or the other (about doing again, and/or offering each lecture individually, and whether it would be more attractive "fresh") please let me know- off list is fine.

Thanks-
