Hi all,
Of course cesareans affect breastfeeding. There is much to be said about
the current state of CS rates, and everything BREASTFEEDING RELATED about CS
is great stuff for Lactnet.

Thanks to all who have shared their thoughts to Lactnet so far. It's enough
now. The rest can be discussed on a number of other lists, or privately
among interested parties.

Betsy Koval's post seems to me a good place for Lactnet to leave the
discussion about why the high CS rate persists, to get back to how CS
relates to breastfeeding. Special thanks to you for sending it, Betsy!

Now, I will get back to work, which means writing 25 pages of material from
a recent conference on the state of CS today, for the next issue of the
midwives' journal. Just in case anyone thinks I am not vitally concerned
with the topic.

cheers
Rachel Myr
