I have a friend that breastfed her son and has fibromyalgia. We were always
reevaluating medications that her doctor wanted her to try. Her son nursed
until almost 3 years old. If someone has a specific question on this topic I can
pass it along to her for further comment. It is sad that women with this
medical condition will be aimed away from breastfeeding. It should be their own
choice if they want to breastfeed or not. They will know soon enough how their
condition reacts when breastfeeding. This mom' s son has a bunch of allergies.
They were better when he was nursing.
