A most appreciated gift might be a gift of dinner,
delivered hot, to the new family, and after all the
help has gone. Call early in the day to make
arrangements, so Mom doesn't have to think about
dinner that day. The visit can be short...just a drop
off, or longer to chat and reassure her...hopefully
not too long because there are problems.  Anne
