susan, you are getting everybody in your hospital up to a wonderful level,
you should consider seeing if marjorie meyer palmer could come and give her
terrific seminar so that various people on your staff could attend, like you
and all the ots, pts, speech therapists, etc. i found it interesting that she
not only talked about people who were really in a rush to get their children
off tubes and back to "normal" feeding, but about people who found it so
difficult and time consuming to handle the child's "normal" feeding that they
preferred to continue with the tube.

i just hate to see the babies three months later, when things begin to really
crash, and see how clearly it is related to hospital experiences. and they
can't always be "fixed"!
