What kind of pump and could the pumping be part of the pain problem? I have seen severe nipple trauma from pumps of all stripes with improper or excessive use.

Subject: persistent yeast

I have permission to post. I have client who has had chronic nipple pain
for the last 3 months. She has used genetian violet and treated with
diflucan 3 times for 2 weeks at a time and now has just been pumping ... no
nipple contact with baby for the last 8 weeks. She is exclusively pumping
and still has significant signs of yeast. She is now treating her yeast
with essential oils. Any other thoughts in getting rid of this?
