Dear friends: I continue to be nomail working on the 99 WBW Action Folder
and flood relief, but a colleague at LLLI who is not on our net asked me to
send this notice to you.

NEW AT THE 1999 LLLI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
POSTER SESSION WILL BE A NEW FEATURE

CALL FOR PRESENTERS AT FIRST TIME LLLI POSTER SESSION

A special area will be designated in the Exhibit Hall for Poster
Presentations. Posters will consist of visually interesting charts, graphs,
photographs, drawings, text or, possible devices, that protect, support or
promote breastfeeding, arranged on a board, that describe a particular
project, research or innovative program. If you are interested in being a
poster session presenter and you would like further information, please

POSTER SUMBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

1.      Posters will be reviewed for acceptance of a project, program,
device or research that promotes, protects or supports breastfeeding or, is
a direct product of breastfeeding.
2.      Poster presenters must be available for two, two-hour periods on two
consecutive days.
3.      Poster Display Boards in the Exhibit Hall will be provided by LLLI
(size is approximately 6' x 8')
4.      Only registered Conference participants may be poster presenters
5.      Submit a one page abstract describing your poster/project to Rebecca
Magalhães (address above):
                (a)     Maximum of one single-spaced page with minimum type
size of 12 characters per inch.
                (b)     Abstract/Poster heading should include abstract
title in upper case; presenter (s)' name in uper and lower case'; name,
city, state or province, and country. Leave a blank line between title and
presents' name (s). Title and names are to be in running style, flush left. 
                        See the sample below.
6.      Do not fold submission materials; mail in 9 x 12 envelope.
Non-letter quality printouts and fax copies are not acceptable.
7.      Attach your full name, address, fax and email (if available) on a
separate piece of paper
8.      Space is limited. Send in your proposals soon. Final deadline for
submission is February 1, 1999.
9.      Poster presenters will be notified if their poster is accepted,
within four (4) weeks of submission of abstract (March 1, 1999)
10.     Accepted poster sessions will be listed in the final Conference
Program and abstracts will be reproduced (from your original) in the
Conference Syllabus.
