In the typical mother/baby dyad, this would not be enough feeds. A typical 5
month old would be expected to still be exclusively bf. I can see no way
baby could get his needs met for food or just comfort with 4-5 feeds per
day.
Other questions:
Is the baby on other foods? Solids or liquids? Is baby sleeping through the
night?
Is mother pregnant?
