Breastfeeding moms should NOT be giving their infants anything which they
themselves are allergic to.  Slight contact between skin and mucus
membranes can be enough to cause an anaphylactic reaction in susceptible
individuals. It's also not a good idea for formula feeding moms, just in
case.
