Express some of her own milk to use frequently (every hour when awake) for
nose drops, and let her own milk, wonderfully full of macrophages,
lysozymes, etc kill the culprit virus on contact, provide a local
decongestant effect, moisten and loosen secretions, and - best - tastes
not-so-bad as it drips down the back of her throat. It'll even have some
custom-made antibodies specific to the causative organism included for good
measure. Definitely compatible with breastfeeding. (Why not?)

Oh you meant something *pharmaceutical*...? Fenugreek is listed in most
herbariums as an expectorant, that thins secretions, often listed for
congestion. I have used it myself when I've had bronchitis, and it is like
turning on the water works - she'll need a full box of tissues. The added
bonus is a boost to her milk supply as well during what could possibly be a
dehydrating situation, especially if she drinks the fenugreek tea, and
certainly extra fluids will help.
