Thank you Gina.  I too agree with what you are saying.  I should have clarified myself better.  I am a IBCLC in our NICU and have been running into this roadblock with our moms when trying to get them a pump from WIC.  I am trying to find out what the policies and the norm is across the board to help me take the next steps to help our moms.  We have a high initiation rate in our NICU, but this problem has been one deterrant for some of our moms.  Our rental station does provide 2 grant pumps/month, but that just barely touches our moms.
