For a reference on carbamazepine safety with breastfeeding see the article:
Breast-feeding and Maternal Drug Use
Benoit Bailey,MD, MSc, FRCPC and Shinya Ito , MD,ABCP
Pediatric Clinics of North America
Vol 44 Number 1, Feb 1997

It explains drugs in milk and uses carbamepine as an example, also uses
sumatriptan.
It goes over plasma levels, excretion into milk, protein binding, drug
clearance, etc, all the kinds of stuff that make people like Frank and Tom
drool.
