I'm an aboriginal midwife on the Six Nations Reserve.

We have always taught our moms/dads that babies are born with far more
knowledge about breastfeeding than we are. When people get involved too
involved with the breastfeeding (midwife latching the baby, feeding when no
signs of hunger) that's when the problems start.

Leave baby alone to work with the knowledge he/she was born with and
hopefully, there won't be problems to correct! Breast or nipple size or
shape doesn't really matter.
