hello to all,

I took my nine year old son to a large Whaling Museum today. One exhibit
compared the growth and development of sperm whale babies to human
babies. It was done it "time line" style--and under "Feeding" said sperm
whales drink their mother's milk for at least two years and human babies
drink their mother's milk for six months to a year and sometimes longer.."

Not bad info--and so nicely presented as the normal way human babies are
fed :) Jason, my smart, breastfed child, noticed right away that it only
mentioned "mother's milk" for human babies and said "I'm glad they didn't
mention the other stuff" Maybe his generation will indeed view mother's
milk as the only normal choice for their babies and pay no attention to the
"other stuff" :) I can only hope that my future daughter-in-laws are being
raised like I am raising my sons and daughter !!

best,
