Pearl,
I worked with a mom 3 yrs ago who had very similar symptoms.  She had weeping
areolar eczema.  It was very painful and also showed "thick" diaper-rash-like
rash.  We found a dermatologist who treated for eczema and it cleared very
well.  Mom also found great relief using USP modified lanolin product.  Hope
