The discussion about ineffective breastfeeding not taken seriously and
followed up by mothers is interesting-where does the LC's liability lie in
this matter?
If counselling fails, is it appropriate to report the situation and your
concerns to the mother's HCP? Is liability then passed to the HCP-but then
what if he had not seen the dyad recently?
There are not enough safety nets for new mums-and I know this issue of
liability and answerability will vary from state to state and country to
country. Is there a general consensus for a "standards of practice" action
plan in this situation?

Best wishes,
