Has anyone heard of using hydrogen peroxide for badly traumatized nipples? I
heard that a local LC recommended it. Is there anything in the literature?
My understanding is that even for regular wound irrigation the more standard
practice now is to use saline rather than peroxide. Is this correct? Please
e-mail me privately as I am nomail. Thanks. Miriam Levitt RN, IBCLC
