Great to know that there are physicians who do think about these matters in a
other way!
I would like to share my explanation on this matter, which I always try to
put as politically correct as possible, in order to be sensitive to the
feelings of people who might feel a discrimination to this.
My wordings are: "Vit D supplementation may be needed for children who do not
live in the geographical area to which they genetically belong" This includes
people of colour in northern places, but also very light skinned people in
meditarranian or tropical surroundings. This last part is often overseen, but
people with light skin do not take much vit D out of a tropaical sun, either.
