I once had a conversation with a very coservative ped about chiropractic and CST for babies. At first, she was quite adversarial, stating that Nature designed birth such that babies were not harmed in the process. I asked her if she felt babies might be harmed in the process of medicalized births and she said, "yes", she could see that they could. She said that she was willing to learn and would be open to the idea. I find that peds are nowhere near as sold on medicalized birth as OB's and that they do often allow themselves to see the trauma that we see everyday.
