in my usually not the least bit humble opinion, we are never going to get
anywhere with consent forms until everyone that is associated with birth and
infant nutrition understands and believes that artificial baby milk is a
harmful and risky substance to be used in only the most serious circumstances.
obviously this is not the case. formula is widely viewed as neutral, not
harmful, by most people.

i understand the reasoning for LLL, for example, to not indulge in "formula-
bashing" or discussions of the risks of formula, but i think this actually
slows down the process of changing this general impression about formula.

and can i sneak in a plea for anyone whose child wants a penpal to consider my
two boy children, ages (almost) 9 and 12, who are really really interested,
either by email or regular mail - to please email me privately?
