Hi,
The new issue of the BCW newsletter is now on our website,
http://www.hmhbwa.org/forprof/BCW/.

Highlights include:
Breastfeeding Saves Six Million Lives Annually
Massachusetts Ban on Formula Gift Bags
BCW Annual Meeting
AAP SIDS Statement
New Breastfeeding Resources from HMHB
Upcoming Breastfeeding Conferences and Trainings

One of the new resources (mentioned above)is a brochure on toxins and
breastmilk (in Eng and Spanish). I mentioned this in a previous post a
number of months ago. This generated a lot of email (both positive and
negative). Before sending me any negative email accusing me of not
supporting breastfeeding, please read the link re: the process for
developing the brochure. In addition, please notice the link to more
information about toxins and breastmilk.

Other new resources from the Breastfeeding Coalition of WA include more
explicit information about breastfeeding legislation and discrimination.
You can read more about why we wrote this in the newsletter.

Other new materials: Breastfeeding info in Russian and Vietnamese. (Same
link as the toxins and breastmilk brochure).

Enjoy....and please send sunshine....

Kimberly Radtke, Coordinator
Breastfeeding Coalition of WA
