Karen suggested: "Can you imagine if all 3000+
lactnetters wrote:
1. One article for a local newspaper
2. One article for a magazine
3. Offered to be interviewed on their Local Public
Radio Station"

that would be lovely and great, but here I am,
uncredentialed except for a couple BS's in
Biochemistry and Biology. I can write the letters but
I fear I may appear to be just one of those
"breastfeeding advocates who lack objectivity" if I
try any of these first three things. How would I get
it published outside of one of the small alternative
mothering magazines I run into? We have a pretty
alternative radio station (www.kgnu.org) and they
interviewed Dia Michels on short notice but apparently
she needed to do a little bit of talking to get it
done. Any thoughts there? No one shows up for a
press conference held by just a person.
