Thanks Liz Brooks for reminding us about breastfeeding as a wedge in legal
cases.

So often, the most frantic calls I get include "What about the
breastfeeding!!!" That includes

legal cases
going back to work
mom needs surger
mom needs meds

...so often, all the craziness centers around the breastfeeding.

It has been useful to remind moms - don't let all the craziness center on
the breastfeeding. Make breastfeeding the still, calm center - the precious
relationship that keeps you sane in all the craziness. Liz is right - this
is about the process, the relationship - not the product. (Thanks Diane W
for reminding us....)
