I went to do a massage on a new client last week (20 weeks pregnant) and
when I walked into her apartment, the first thing I saw was a big case of
formula in the corner.

When I asked her about it, she said there was no way she was going to be
able to breastfeed this child exclusively, and knew she would have to
combine formula with the breast - since the father of the baby was gone and
she was going to have to support the baby alone.

I talked to her a little about her options, but I don't want to preach to
her and scare her off. How do I approach this woman who obviously wants to
do what is best for her baby, but doesn't seem to know what the best is?
How do I do this without alienating her?
