I must admit I agree with Amy about the posters being "odd". I'm not
wild about them and I wouldn't put them up either, because I think
there's a good potential for offending people...like me! They seem, if
not pornographic, then certainly "inappropriate" to borrow from medical
terminology. They demean breasts, IMHO, and that does nothing to
advance breastfeeding. My new son-il is Italian and his parents have a
portrait in their dining room of a young woman with breasts in full
view. Their picture of it ended up on my computer accidentally and is
part of my screen saver slide show. Every time the picture pops up, my
eyes are drawn to the beauty of her breasts. They're not erotic or
titillating, just matter-of-fact. I would rather put *that* on my wall
(of course in the hospital, you'd be ordered to take them down
immediately!) When I first saw the posters, my reaction was, why they
look like breasts! Eeeewwwww.. I couldn't understand the point. I get
that it's making a connection between not-breastfeeding and these health
issues, but that's a negative connection. IOW, otoscopes and breasts.
Dandelions and breasts, etc. Not flattering.

Marsha, expressing my (apparently minority) opinion. No flames please!
