One suggestion I saw recently for setting up a "lactation room" was that the
entrance to the LR was through the women's lounge. Thus, moms using the LR
had some protection for their privacy. No one in the hallway could see that
they were going to express their milk.

This wouldn't be an issue in a breastfeeding-friendly work setting, but how
many of those do we have??? And a mom who is still a little shy about taking
her milk expression breaks might appreciate the extra concern shown by this
set-up.

Remember the mom whose colleagues (my guess is mostly male, but the story
doesn't say) used to gather outside the bathroom where she was expressing her
milk and "moo" at her? That would make some of us angry enough or embarrassed
enough to mess up our letdown!
