Yes, I too lament the passing of the cuddling up with a baby/toddler stage
as most of you have commented. and I too have the lovliest teenagers,
non-agressive, very loving and a pleasure to be associated with.
My dh isn't a cuddly person in bed (well, not most of the time ;-)  ), so
now I get my cuddles from the cat.  She's Burmese and loves to be under the
blankets and cuddled as close against my chest as she can.  She's very
diplomatic - senses when each person has had enough of her and moves on to
the next bed for a few nights.
