Hi Janet,
In my lecture on mammary dysbiosis I mentioned the use of topical curcumin
during an episode of subclinical mastitis. There is one study I found where
its use reduced pain and erythema within 72 hours.

Afshariani et al. Oman Med J 2014; 29:330-334

The product that was used in this study was curcumin topical cream from
Neuro Biologix. It was used topically, not ingested.
