When I was trying to conceive my second child while still nursing my first, I realized
through natural family planning techniques (basal temp, mucous, etc) that my luteal
phase was too short.

I read a wonderful book -- "Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition" by Marilyn Shannon. I
started taking a daily supplement of vitamin B6. Within a cycle or two, my luteal
phase had lengthened, and I conceived. And with no ill-effects on my milk supply. I
would recommend that these mothers read this book, and investigate nutritional issues.

Happy New Year!
Andrea
