I know this isn't specifically in relation to breastfeeding, but i would
appreciate any help or direction anyone could give me. Please e-mail me so
as not to clutter up the list.
A mom that I'd consulted with a few years back called me with a question
about her fibrocystic breasts. She is 41 years old, delivered her first
child 3 years ago. In the beginning of November, she had six non-cancerous
cysts surgically removed after aspirating them failed. Nothing else was
found at that time, and she was pronounced "clean".
But last week, ultrasounds showed TEN cysts in one breast and TOO MANY
TO COUNT in the other! So in less than two months time, all of these new
cysts have appeared. She has asked me if I might ask around about the
possibility of it being related to her hormones. (She also has
endometriosis). And she is searching for a physician that might try
something other than surgery.
Any leads/links/referrals/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
