This is must definitely be considered. What about getting those breasts
really emptied twice a day (i.e. one in the morning and one in the evening).
I had a similar personnal experience and combined with improving the latch
and expression of each breast once a day, the problem literally cleared up
overnight (actually by the end of the day of visiting the IBCLC!) :-)

Not sure if this would work with such a heavy bacterial infection - if
that's the problem ?
