Dear Doreen

Having all your ducks in a row, (i.e. all your references and sources)
is a good idea when you are working on changing practices. I would
suggest that a letter may not be effective in what you are hoping to
change. Since physicians tend to listen to their peers you might want
to approach the peds and ob dept heads and enlist their support. A
supportive hospital pharmacist might also be able to add a positive
spin. Don't forget to keep your personal dept. director in the loop
also.
