Margaret,
I would try to get the powers that be to separate the classes. But I know
how hard it is to work against the establishment, so, then you can present it
something like this (in other words, emphasize the hazards of artif. fdg):
Make sure everyone knows bf is far far superior to ABM. Then you can say, "if
you are in an unusual situation, for example, are taking the rare med. that
precludes bf, and have no extra expressed milk, then you MAY have to use a
bit of ABM. Be sure you mix it properly, sterilize, etc and maintain close
bonding etc." From this they will see how much better br. milk is. You can
also discuss from this that VERY few situaitons mandate use of ABM and that
they may want to consider having some pumped and put away if they know or
anticipate something like this. Just some thoughts.
